Save 70% on Bachelor of Education. Limited places left in Nov 2024 intake.

Domestic students commencing any of AC’s Bachelor of Education courses in 2024 may qualify for a limited number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) made available by the Australian government.

If you are successful in receiving a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), the “student contribution” you pay as part of the total fees for your course is significantly reduced.

You may also qualify for a further reduction in your student contribution if you are accepted into one of AC’s Teaching Hub programs. Note, if you qualify for FEE-HELP, this can be used to defer your payment of your student contributions.

General Info and FAQs regarding CSPs and Scholarship

General Information

Alphacrucis (AC) University College has a number of government funded Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) for 2024 and 2025 for students commencing our Bachelor of Education courses:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary)
  • Bachelor of Education (Primary)
  • Bachelor of Education (Secondary)

These CSPs are intended to create opportunities for students from under-represented groups to access higher education and enter the teaching profession, including those first in family to receive higher education, those from regional and remote areas, those from low-socioeconomic backgrounds, people with a disability and First Nations people.

Bachelor of Education Fee Breakdown per subject (2023 pricing)

The student contribution (what you pay) is as follows and depends on what you qualify for regarding CSPs, AC Scholarships, and Teaching Schools Hubs Scholarships.

Whilst the student contributions are the fees you pay for your course, please note that if you also qualify for FEE-HELP, this can be used to defer your payment of your student contributions.

Student contribution – on CSP
If you qualify for a CSP: $515 per subject
Note: If you don’t qualify for a CSP, you may be awarded an AC Education Scholarship instead. Scholarships will only be considered for those who do not qualify for a CSP.

Student contribution – on AC Scholarship
If you qualify for an AC scholarship, your student contribution will be: $1,970 per subject.

Teaching Schools Hub Scholarship
If you qualify for study through one of the AC Teaching Schools Hubs, the hub will typically provide a scholarship to cover half* of your student contribution amount. Once you are offered a place at an AC Teaching School Hub, the hub will confirm the final student contribution. Below are two examples of how this subsidy could apply.

(* this amount may vary by Teaching School Hub)

Example Calculation: CSP with Hub Scholarship

If you were successful in applying for a CSP as well as a Hub Scholarship, your student contribution fee would be:

$515 minus Hub Scholarship = your actual student contribution/fee per subject.

Example Calculation: AC Scholarship with Hub Scholarship

If you do not qualify for a CSP but instead awarded an AC scholarship as well as a Hub Scholarship, your student contribution fee would be:

$1,970 minus Hub Scholarship = your actual student contribution/fee per subject.

What is the process to apply?

To apply to study with AC without applying for a Teaching Schools Hub, you can do so through our Apply Now page.

To apply to study with AC through a Teaching Schools Hub you should do this by concurrently applying with the Hub(s) you are interested in as well as AC through our Apply Now page. Our Future Students team will help you navigate the process, whichever you choose.

How can I qualify for a CSP?

You will need to be considered a 'domestic student' and apply for full-time study.

You must also meet at least ONE of the following criteria, these criteria are set by the Australian government.

Student Stories

I’m doing my placement with William Clarke College in Kellyville and it’s just been an awesome experience. Just being put into a school that shares your values and allows you to share those with the students is such a great freedom. Knowing that you’re supported by your mentor teacher is also really helpful.
