The Book of Revelation (or the Apocalypse as it is often called, from its opening word in Greek) is one of the most difficult of all the books of the Christian Bible. Understanding it is crucial in helping make clear the place of the church today and giving you the discernment to speak truth, life and confidence in your ministry.
In this intensive Revelation expert, Rev Dr Jon Newton, will illuminate how this book and the context can provide some of the most pertinent answers to our existence now and as a church community.

- Understand the importance and significance of the book of Revelation to Christian life and ministry today.
How to enrol for course-based and audit students
As a course-based student you complete assignments and receive credit for the subject. If you're interested in studying this as part of an AC course, get in touch with our Future Students team to consider the various course options available.
As an audit student you pay a much lower fee to enrol, study and learn as there is no pressure of assignments or deadlines as no credit is awarded for the completion of this class.
Follow these simple steps to enrol:
- If this is your first time applying for studies with AC, select the “New Account” button on the student gateway and follow the prompts.
- Once you've successfully logged in or registered, you can go straight to the application for the course of your choice. When asked what subject you will take, choose BIB565 or BIB355 The Book of Revelation, Semester 2, 2023.
- Pay for your subject and receive confirmation. Closer to the class date you'll receive more details about time and location for the subject.
