Get acquainted with Israel's Scriptures as a coherent narrative that is of crucial importance to Christians (pun intended!). While this subject includes a discussion of every book in Israel's Scriptures, Dr John Griffiths will go beyond this to look at how the character of God is communicated, and trace significant themes throughout. 

This 5-day intensive will also look at how to read Hebrew narrative and poetry, and at the influence of cultural background on interpretation.

Discipleship

Gain a holistic understanding of Discipleship within the church context as Dr Peter Downes coaches students in the historical context of Discipleship throughout the New Testament, as well as practically discipling others. 

In this 5-day intensive, you will also look at Spiritual Disciplines, Discipleship around the world, and the social, cultural and interpersonal dynamics of Discipleship in different contexts. 

Students commencing studies in Semester 1, 2024 will also need to enrol in MIN101/MIN401 to be eligible for this subject.

How to enrol for Audit

Audit is study for personal development that does not count towards course credit or an award/degree. Audit students pay a much lower fee and do not need to complete assignments as no credit is awarded for the completion of this class.

Follow these simple steps to enrol:

  1. If this is your first time applying for studies with AC, select the “New Account” button and follow the prompts.
  2. Once you've successfully logged in or registered, you can go straight to the application. When asked what subject you will take, choose the subject you wish to access. For example, choose ACA101 Faith & Purpose, Semester 1, 2024.
  3. Pay for your subject and receive confirmation. Closer to the class date you'll receive more details about time and location for the subject.
